Do any Pixel users have to continually re-enable battery optimization on Oreo

Happy Monday (said no one ever). Regarding the title of this thread, I was wondering if everyone is experiencing the same thing I am. I get good battery life but once you select optimize all apps, do we have to keep going back to optimize everything once in a while.

All apps - even newly added ones - should be optimized by default with the exception of those (mostly system apps) that have a flag set internally to disable optimization.
