Do Apple users hate on the Apple 11 Pro Max like Android users hate the Pixel 4?

I love my Pixel 4XL!

No. The iPhone 11 Pro is actually a good phone. Apple really focused on the battery life this year, making it last at least 5 hours longer than the XS. Plus, FaceID works with all apps, there’s a wide angle lens, and 4K/60fps. You actually get your money’s worth when buying the iPhone 11 Pro vs the Pixel 4.

Agree as someone who always has multiple latest Android phones and latest iPhone, iPhones have the best overall experience in terms of smoothness and how many apps are more optimized etc. I love Android for various other reasons but no doubt the iPhone experience is great.

I have the 4 XL and it is a joy to use and makes me happy.

Does only the fastest car matter or the one with the biggest engine or most horsepower count?

To be honest the question doesn’t really make sense. Apple played catch up with the 11 Pro and finally got everything right, good battery life, great triple cameras etc. Google is still lagging behind with the Pixel 4, launching an improved yet disappointing product compared to the competition.

Why? The OP asked a question.
Many people (more than you might think) use both platforms. There’s nothing wrong with honest comparisons as long as bashing doesn’t get in the way. Good, honest information.

I think there is more of a let down towards the pixel because of some of the choices Google has made this year. no phone is perfect and we all have our preferences. I loved that Pixel2XL despite all the complaints with the screen. No issues on my phone. I say enjoy the phone if you bought it. Take all the positives and deal with the shortcomings. Some complain about battery. Okay then charge it LOL..if not acceptable then return and move on. What's good for one person might not be for another but we have some great choices with today's phones. As for the iPhone I've not seen any hate for the Max this year. It's a solid device. Note 10 plus as I write on it for this post is a beast. Different strokes for different folks. Sorry for rant as I get tired of all the bashing I see across the forums.

Nope but certain essentials do matter.

Proper bio authentication, a battery big enough to use the phone all day, and enough storage to not run out quickly.

I love my Pixel 4XL.

I love the improved display over my Pixel 3 XL. Same goes for much better sound.
Face unlock works great for me. My battery life is about the same as my 3XL.

Like I said. I love my Pixel 4XL.

I think what is happening is that since Google develops Android there is a higher expectation and standard that people are holding Google to.

It shouldn’t be inconceivable that the Pixel should be one of the best if not the best phone to showcase Android but for the prices they are charging the phones still fall short.

I also think that people are more positive about the iPhones this year because they added tremendous battery life with the Pro Max and the cameras this year are a knockout whereas Google seemed to only focus on the camera software and this Soli sensor whilst neglecting basic things like battery life.

Well if Google wasn’t trying so hard to make the pixel the iPhone of Android then maybe the iPhone comparisons wouldn’t be as prevalent but here we are.

Apple didnt royally screw that product up like Google did with the Pixel 4.

For the most part, apple user tend to accept what apple gives them. Also, many iPhone YouTubers reviewers complain about the pixel, then many will follow the trend.

I have a pixel 4 and iPhone 11 pro. I like smaller phones. When I got the pixel I tested the battery for a day, watching how long it would go. Started at about 6 am till 10 pm with pretty heavy usage. Streaming, calls, texts, updates, etc. I got 5 hours and 30 minutes of screen on time. Is it as good as my iPhone 11 pro. No. But it is a good phone. I think this year Apple has great phone offerings. But there has been complaints about IOS 13. But they are working to fix these things. From my experience and reading, Android 10 has been cleaner this year than ios13. I do not remember a time when I had so many bugs that got in the way of using an iPhone. Lots of updates since it came out.

My thoughts exactly. You see all of these videos and tech reviews and everything.... but in my month or so of use of the 4XL it's still a great phone. It does everything I need it to do. There are a few bugs with face unlock and such but overall it's still a great phone and I'm very pleased with the purchase.

The biggest thing for me is that I bought my wife one and in years past when she has had other phones it was pretty much a constant stream of complaints about how this doesn't do this or that doesn't do this or it's slow. I have not heard one complaint from her in the two months that she has had this phone she's got a 4XL

So true. Most everyone will choose only one ecosystem. Android has so many hardware options that there will always be an alternative that does one thing better than another device. Also there are many price points. IOS has no alternative devices, so there is nothing to compare an iPhone to within the IOS sphere.
