Do apps stored on the phone load faster?

I'm sure that this question has been asked before (it's not an easy one to search for), but does it really matter whether I store apps entirely on the phone - do they load faster from there for instance - or is it better (or at least not worse) to just store everything on the "sd card" section of the drive?

Not on the HOX. All memory is the same. Other phones use microsd cards for phone storage, which is slower.
