Do I have Malware or a virus??

Recently when I reboot my phone and it turns back on a get a message in my text inbox from a number that is too many numbers to be a phone number saying ^#&**# screenname does not exsist. Please try again. I don't use any messaging programs like Windows Live, Yahoo etc on my phone.

Any thoughts??

Never heard of that happening. If it's in your message inbox, than I highly doubt it's a virus or malware. But just to be on the safe side, if you're worried about things like viruses there are apps in the market to protect your phone. I would recommend Lookout for that.
