Do I have to wipe my phone?

Trying to avoid doing it, I have done a backup during Smart Switch.

If I put my phone to restart, it'll turn off and not turn back on without a battery pull. Sometimes when I try to turn it on, it also says "Could not do normal boot, mmc_read failed”, which results in another battery pull.
