Do I need to use a case on my Note 8?

Depends on you. I never use one. I have a wireless charger in my centre console of the Jeep, so I just place the phone on that with Bluetooth on and drive off into the sunset.
When I'm in the bush, I put a battery pack on it...
Others wouldn't leave home without one.
Depends your use and habits. Are you rough, clumsy? Do you drop your device often?
