Do I need every update?

Hi all
(I did check with the "search", to see if my question was answered but didn't find anything specific for mine.)

I am using a international Note 5 so I do not have network provided apps involved but lately I am noticing that there are a lot of updates and I am sure this is eating into my space and my device seems just a tad bit slower. Is there an intelligent way around this? What have you done for your Note 5 in regards to updates?

Regards

To me, unless the update will fix an issue that you're currently experiencing. Then no, you can wait...

Some of them are security updates. If you don't care about security and everything works fine then no need to update, if you don't care about the latest and greatest

I've always only updated apps that I use heavily or rely on heavily. Next I go by if/when apps start to misbehave I'll take the update if there is one. Next I just wait and read the reviews on updates and filter the reviews by my device model and most recent.
