Do I Need To Update My Recovery?

I've been using Xionia CWMA v1.2518.6 ever since I rooted in August, and I was wondering if it's time to updated. If I do, which recovery should I use?

Well its a split between CWM touch recovery and IHO recovery. I personally use touch recovery.

All the recoverys are good but just like any program it can crash in a heartbeat. Especially if its new cause u never know what kinda effects lots of use will have on it

I downgraded not too long ago because I had issues testing a "update-script" and it wouldn't work on the newer recoveries. But I kept it on there due to laziness and it works just as good as all the others. The others just have more and better features, some aren't needed for flashing/wiping/etc.

As long as yours works it wont hurt keeping it. I know I change from Xionia to Iho non-touch so I can configure the phone with CDMA tools. I cant get it to show up on any of my software with the other recoveries like gannon5197 said, its about the features.
