Do i really need a firewall?

Hello community,
I use Samsung smart phone for only three reasons:

1. use as phone to call and sms
2. skype
3. google map

And i occasionally take picture but really i don't do anything else (No facebook, twitter etc). I don't want to install anti virus as i don't download anything. But i'm concerned about my skype calls. Do i need a firewall? My phone is light version of samsung galaxy and is not powerful so i'm so careful with ram etc.

well, if you don't download anything, don't install app outside google play, samsung market, I think there is no problem.
Basically, skype app has itself a security connection, you don't need to worry about it.
The important thing is that you need to be careful when clicking on an url on email, skype, sms... make sure you know what it does
