A few months ago, I started getting 10-12 phone calls per day from robo diapers or telemarketers. I am deaf and even though I have a vm saying so and that they should text me, the calls kept coming. As a result, I set my phone to persistent do not disturb and specifically set the option to reject calls from those numbers not in my contacts.
Calls are much reduced, but 2 to 3 daily are still getting through. They are not in my contacts at all and have weird area codes, like 789 or 981. I need this nuisance to stop.
What gives? Why isn’t this setting working?
