Wow just on a hunch I decided to take off my screen protector and it's like night and day. This is the best looking screen I've seen.

Were you using the clear or anti-glare version? My Gnex looks very dim when using auto brightness and I'm wondering if the screen protector is the culprit.

I had a before and after and it seems ok. Are you using the non glare ones?

Yeah, the anti glare was all they had. For me they basically magnified the pixelation and that is what was giving me a headache. Now I don't even see any pixelation at all

I think it depends on how you use it... I use mine outside a lot in the sunlight... and the anti-glare made it much better.

They gave me the anti-glare ones probably because I didn't know any better. I put one on and I don't think I left it on for more than a minute. Those are absolute garbage, what a waste of money.

I use invisishield. It may add a slight grain to the screen. But it keeps me feeling safe. I plan on keeping this Nexus for the full 2-year term,, first time ive done that ever, and really want this to last.

Yea the anti glare at verizon is junk but I bought it to temporarily protect my screen.

I chose to get the SGP Flex screen protector, I have to say it went on perfectly, no dust (lucky this time) and really don't notice the orange peel effect people complain about. I did get the clear pack from Verizon but I will be returning those tomorrow.

I bought the clear VZ screen protector 3 pack and they work fine. For $9 with corp discount, it was cheap & the best option to get the screen protected ASAP. I go straight from the shipping protector to after market screen protector without touching the screen. If these turn out to be crap, I'll go to a Steinheil Ultra Clear. I had this one for my DX and it was great.

I am waiting for Ghost Armor to get theirs to market. I have used their protectors on my last 4-5 phones and they're great - crystal clear, not tacky, and still tough against scratch marks. You have to be careful putting them on but if you get it right they last a long time. Usually $15 for a 2-pack.

I just had a Ghost Armor put on and after a few days, there's like a crystallized/sparkly look. It's really noticeable on a screen where the background is lighter. Is this normal for Ghost Armor?
