Do scratches bother you?

A scratch on body would bother me, especially the first few new months. After the first scratch the rest all less painful.

Screen scratch would really bother me and and a deep screen scratch would tempt me to do an insurance claim.

I am the guy who parks his truck way in the very back of the parking lot.

Lol I agree. Although I do not have insurance though I should get it. The scratches I have, my wife cannot see. The 2 micro scratches near the earpiece are only noticeable when light hits it a certain way and the 3-5 scratches on Bezel are pretty much the same way. I started with iPhone 7 32GB, exchanged for 256 GB iPhone 7, and then exchanged for 128GB iPhone 7 Plus. Had a huge issue and paid off the 7 Plus, sold it, and now I'm with the Pixel XL. I'm avoiding my local Verizon store for quite some time lol lucky my custom made film Protector is protecting the screen. If it were there I'd be very annoyed. Luckily it's not though.

I have been able to keep my devices pretty much flawless via care, screen protectors, and cases. So yes, again, a scratch would indeed bother me a lot. I invest a not insignificant amount of money into my toys, err, I mean phones and I just enjoy them more when they're flawless. My husband and daughter don't care so much. This shot taken with my 5s doesn't do them justice but they're clean, no blemishes

I asked this in the Pixel forum but curious to hear from others as well. If you have a phone for a day or 2 and notice a small scratch on the aluminum or bezel, does it bother you? Curious to see how OCD members on the forum are. Personally, my eyes always find it. Luckily it is not the glass on front or back but just a few (3-5) very small silver parts on the black bezel where it meets the phone screen. I guess my 1-day honeymoon phase is over and phone can stop being 100% babied lol

Only when she doesn't trim her nails

Its actually a relief once you get a few scratches, because then you dont have to care so much.

How about when buying a new car, thats the worse! I even try to avoid rain for awhile.
