I have not seen an HDMI port on a phone in quite some time. Samsung used to have Micro USB to HDMI adapters, but I am not sure if they are still in production.
Just get a Chromecast dongle and you will be able to cast your screen to your TV wirelessly.

Because Google doesn't enable Chromecast for screen mirroring from all devices by default. Only a certain list. I don't know if the GS6 is on the list or not. You need screen mirroring to have HDMI like functionality.Compatible with Chromecast?
