Is anyone actually using their HDMI out? What are the use cases for it?

Are you using it more than once a week?

I rather have DLNA than HDMI

I use it to stream recent shows from Jetflicks, mainly because I turned off cable, and there are some shows that I can't get via Netflix / Hulu.

I use it all the time with netflix and hbogo. I also use it at work for training/presentations.

I use HDMI mirroring all the time. I think we will eventually have a wireless mirroring standard but until then HDMI is necessary.

Yeah, until DLNA or some similar protocol is in everyones projectors I definitely need HDMI out. Using my phone for presentations is one of my favorite tricks!

Frequency isn't important, the fact it takes zero room to have, using it a few times is more than awesome. A dime to integrate. Is it huge? No, but options are found on sports cars, and having options on a phone doesn't hurt, use it or not.

Actually I like the new thing HTC is doing the Sensation and Evo 3D both have hdmi out ports but its shared with a microusb port so you use a mhl cable so one less port.

I dont use it all the time, but have used it a couple of times before. And its pretty much well needed. Now that people can see what HDMI out does, they cater some of their ways to use it. So in turn, I believe it must be a standerd feature now on. Just like front facing cameras that every phone is having nowadays even though people hardly use it. Its there now, so they shouldnt take that stuff out. Its useful.

I dont think we need it. Its nice tho. I can see myself using HDMI out more than a FFC. I just need a real long HDMI cable.

I have no need for one now... But when I upgrade to a phone with the port it will be something I use often - I can already see it happening. Haha

I love the HDMI port. It's great for when you're in a hotel you can bring your own movies. It's also nice to be able to see your stuff on the big screen.

I love how just because some people don't use it they don't think it needs to be on there. I'm pretty sure not everyone uses ALL of the phone's features.

I try and opt for the model with the most options, being restricted to dlna is just that.
