Do We Really Still Need Screen Protectors?

curved screens are beautiful, but i still prefer to have a flat screen so that i could use a tempered glass protector. any chance of notes going back to flat screen?

Stopped using them when I got an S5. That phone, my Nexus 6P and S7E have all been naked screened, and not a scratch on any of them. I'll be going sans screen protector on my Note 8 too.

I hate getting micro scratches on my phones. I installed a White Dome on mine the day it arrived, and it fits perfectly. I understand the fan base now! Even the Verizon reps were impressed when I ran in to look for a power bank.

I used to be a die hard Zagg glass fan up until a couple of years ago. Once the devices started with the curved screen, nothing would adhere to the glass especially when using a case.

I've had the S7 Edge and have been nekkid with it and zero issues with not using one. My Note 8 arrives tomorrow and I'll go nekkid with that too.

Never. It does ruin the experience a bit. I'm aware of what I have in my pockets and I'm generally careful. Never had scratches on any of my phones.

I don't have one on mine and honestly just think having one just takes away from how your fingers supposed to flow and Interact with the phone. In other words, it worsens the experience.

I do for scratches. I figured I wouldn't need to on my shatter proof Moto z force, but dang it scratches so easy.

Absolutely I use a screen protector. I don't want scratches on my screen as it'll affect resale value.

I don't care for a screen protector due to the edge display, but I would be wiling to pay for a very high quality black privacy screen. Wishful thinking.....

I used to share have my phone wrapped up with something but I've been going completely naked for the past year with no scratches. Just means I can't be as careless. I'm sure if I ever do get a scratch I'll be kicking myself for not having some kind of protection

I have mine in a leather case and just noticed a couple micro scratches from my credit card. Hardly noticeable but annoying enough. Hopefully I can buff it out.

how does it diminish the experience by having one on?
i put the tempered glass protector on that came with the zizo case and there is absolutely no issues with the s-pen.
it just makes sense to put one on for extra protection
