Well a few things I don't see how that wouldn't be a problem with pretty much any screen protector because they're all using some type of glue which usually liquefies at some temperature... Plus of course if you have it in direct sunlight you're putting UV light on it and we already know that this adhesive his activated by UV light so you're over baking it. In addition to that I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to leave your phone screen in direct sunlight anyway because the screen itself can burn and internal components can overheat.Have these gotten any better since they released for the s8 and s8+? I had one on the S8 and after being in the sun for a couple hours, the glue started to release and gum up causing the screen protector to come off. Others were having issues if the phone heated up releasing the glue. There were a ton of complaints about these on xda.
That's why I'd rather rely on insurance I guess.Well a few things I don't see how that wouldn't be a problem with pretty much any screen protector because they're all using some type of glue which usually liquefies at some temperature... Well my first one came out perfect... I actually broke the first one so my second one also came out perfect. The one I got for my mom's phone came out perfect. The only one I messed up on was the one for my wife which that was a S8 Plus because that jig isn't built as good as than ones for the note but even that one on the second time came out perfect...It just seems so damn complicated to install. I feel like I'd blow the installation for sure.
Yeah I can see that for the cost of two of these and you could pay a deductible if you have a $100 deductible... But if you think installing these is a hassle usually insurance claims are a much larger hassle imoThat's why I'd rather rely on insurance I guess.
I didn't have any issues when I installed on of these before. It actually went on rather well. The problem was a couple days later I was outside for a couple hours and the adhesive began loosening until the protector essentially slid off the phone.Yeah I can see that for the cost of two of these and you could pay a deductible if you have a $100 deductible... This protector is brand-new I have seen no reviews at all for this particular one you are talking about the regular one not the es version which is the extra Strong full adhesive version the regular one is just Edge adhesivePeople complain that the screen loses sensitivity with this protector, not an issue with Whitestone.

That's the one I'm waiting for. I don't think I'd have any issues installing the Whitestone but just don't want the possibility of liquid adhesive oozing into places it shouldn't be on my phone. I'm rocking a Skinomi wet applied film on my screen until the Bodyguardz Pure Arc ES is available.

I used to be a die hard Zagg glass fan up until a couple of years ago. Once the devices started with the curved screen, nothing would adhere to the glass especially when using a case.
I've had the S7 Edge and have been nekkid with it and zero issues with not using one. My Note 8 arrives tomorrow and I'll go nekkid with that too.
That version is edge adhesive only... Good luckI just put bodyguards glass on mine and my son's Note 8 and they were perfectly
