Do you get burned out or bored too?

I think I will slow up as well. I spend way too much time scrolling my Feedly. I think I will have to let some sites go. Android Central ain't one of them though!

For me it's been a bit of 2 things.

Lack of time/effort invested in learning other devices - which means I can't be as helpful in the forums, although I go on binges now and then and hit a lot of the "help me!" posts with as much advice as I can give.
Boredom with my own device (Galaxy Nexus). Can't afford an upgrade right now, heck can't even keep my bill caught up lately (long story). So reading forums/posts only serves to remind me that it's gonna be a while before I can replace/upgrade which makes me shy away from posting. Call it device jealousy or whatever, but it does kinda suck.

Doesn't mean I'm not lusting after the latest phones (Note 3 is my current dream device - depending on what the S5 has), but it's kinda like lusting after the fastest supercar, or the hotest Playboy babe.... you know they're far out of your reach and will remain so (short of a miracle).

So yeah, I'm kinda struggling too. A new device would help a lot as I'd be forced to learn new things about it - and seek out a specific forum for help.

It is always more fun In the forums with a new device in hand. I am really looking forward to what the next round of phone technology brings this year!

I'm back!! :D Been on a posting frenzy the last few days and loving it (forum and blog)! :p Must have been SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder). :'( Thanks again for everyone's encouragement! It made a big difference! I can't say again how great this community is! Thank you! :)

On a slightly sad note, my girl said no to getting back on a bike; too dangerous around these parts (Alabama). She has a point, many around here can barely drive on dry roads and sunny . :( Crazy as it sounds, from my experience the old farts in S. Florida can drive better. So I said goodbye to my old riding jacket and helmet (donated to local charity). We'll see, I'll get back on a bike at some point, may be when we move back to Colorado. :)

If you want a thrill ride better than any bike and about the same price, consider getting a microlight, it's cheap to buy, fly and maintain... You can get a good second hand one for about $3500 ...you also don't have to worry about drivers on the road, seriously what vehicle could compare to flying with an open cockpit so you can "feel the thrill" it's also easy to get a license. Just my 2 cents
