I turned it on when I found out about it and I just now had to turn it off. I'll see how much I miss it but the keys were too small and I couldn't type fast at all and had to pretty much rely on swype. I have Verizon and it has come to my attention that you can pinch-zoom the keyboard to quickly change between full size and one handed but Verizon turns that off and my phone isn't rooted.

I've tried it also but didn't like it.

havent even tried it, seems like it would work well for dialing the phone one handed but kinda useless to text or type in a website cause i just use both thumbs

I didn't like it as well, besides I uses SwiftKey for my keyboard

It frustrates me that Verizon continues to limit our phones. I mean what reason would they have to disable this pinch to zoom keyboard feature? Really??

I don't ever use it,, the way I figure it is if you can only type with one hand then you really should not be texting in the first place.

Note 2, it's true, ,size is everything!

How do you turn it off?

I think the method was this:
Go to "Settings", then go "One handed operation" to un-check.

Go to "Settings", then go to "Language and input", and lastly, Samsung Keyboard settings. There should be an option there.

I haven't used one in a while but I think those were the locations. :-) you always also install another keyboard. Let me know!

I find the keyboard to be too small for my hand. I have a large enough hand that I can reach every letter on the keyboard one-handed except for the 'q', shift key and Sym key.

Never tried it. The only time I see myself using it is when I am driving, and I shouldn't text and drive

If you load the Ki keyboard, you can adjust the margins and spacing to create a one-handed keyboard to fit how you type. I have mine set so that its a bigger keyboard then the Samsung "one-handed" one and shifted a bit to the right but not all the way. You can aslo set the size of the keys and the space between keys. Works great for me both one and two handed.

Only issue is no way to save settings so that you can easily switch between different configurations. Would be great to be able to switch between several set-ups with a click.
