So I recently booted up an old Samsung Galaxy running Android 7 Nougat and I was pleasantly surprised of how good the UI design still holds up nowadays. The iconography throught the UI is simple, and the UI overall feels clean and compact. Below is a screenshot of the Settings app to illustrate what I mean.
This might actually be my favourite version of Samsung's software skin. I don't really remember what it's actually called as I think this was the time when Samsung changed the name a few times (from TouchWiz to GraceUX and Samsung Experience).
You can see some more screenshots of it in this article: https://www.androidauthority.com/samsung-galaxy-s7-edge-android-7-nougat-731046/
Do you have a favourite version of Samsung's UI? Do you think the new OneUI versions do it better?
(I couldn't find a general Samsung Galaxy subforum so I chose this one, but feel free to move it if there's a better fitting one)
