Do you have to send the sd card from your old phone for the trade up?

I'm getting ready to send in my old phone for my trade up. I have pictures and other things on my sd card that I would like to keep for back up purposes. Do I have to send the card in with my phone? I seem to remember reading somewhere that they would destroy the card anyway (but then again memory is the first to go). Also, I read in other threads that there were questions about whether we had to send in chargers. I have had my old phone for more than 2 years and have lost the original charger. Does anybody know whether the chargers are required? Thanks.

Sending in the SD card is definitely not necessarily. Not sure about charger or accessories. Just call your wireless provider and ask.
