Why would you leave it on if you are not using it? It has to eat the battery even slightly.
I leave both bluetooth, WiFi and GPS on all the time. I can't say I notice any extra battery drainage issues. I've never turned those off so I can't say if it helps with battery life or not.

Jawbone and Tbolt don't play well together.![]()
That's interesting; I had thought about getting a Jawbone. My sister is on Sprint & has the EVO & she really likes her Jawbone.
I've had the Jabra BT 8010 for several years (used first with a MotoQ, then with an OG Droid, now with my T'bolt). It has worked very well, but it's getting old.
I leave it off. No point being on. I leave GPS on just in case I misplace my phone then I can use lookout to find it.
don't know how true this is but, I was told that if u leave ur Bluetooth on all the time, like airport, .mv,etc. someone has a laptop with Bluetooth, they can get in ur phone and get pics and all ur info.
