Do you like the screen size on the Nexus 7?

Hi all,

I am buying the Nexus 7 and the Nexus 10 next week (The N7 for portable use and the N10 for home use) but what I?m most interested in is how are all you guys finding the screen size on your N7?s for things like browsing the web, emails, reading and the occasional game or movie etc?

I love it. I wouldn't mind if they made the bezels smaller, but this is by far the best tablet I've had so far. The 10" form factor is great for movies, content creation (typing, spreadsheet, photo editing, etc), but for almost everything I use a tablet for, 7" is great.

As most N7 users will tell you, the screen size is great. It?s large enough for anything that you can possible want to do on a tablet. Yet, it?s small enough to be portable.

As much as I like the N7, I don?t think now is a good time to buy one. Rumors have it that we?re days away from the announcement of the next generation N7. So you?ll probably be better served if you just wait a bit for the new one. If the rumors hold true, the new N7 will directly address the few weaknesses of the current N7.

1920x1200 resolution display
Thinner bezel
5MP rear cam
Qualcomm Snapdragon 800

Drool?.

Approximately 30 hours and 10 minutes.

I'm older. so, for me most tablets are a pain for surfing the web. Too much pinching to read and squinting anyway.
For everything else I think the N7 is a champ. It's way light, the rez is great, it's fast than your mother, and it fits in a pocket... OK, a BIG pocket.

There is a real reason that the iPad Miini is doing so well. 7" is a sweet spot.

That said, wait for the big Google show-n-tell in a couple of weeks. N7 may drop in price as it gets cleared out for a "betternewercooler" update.
It will still be a sweet tablet...

I love the 7in form factor and the N7 is my 4th tablet and I am enjoying it. I wish it had the same processor as my N4, but other than that, it is great. I use it at home, at work, and when traveling, so it is the perfect size for me.

As others have said, hold off on buying a tablet because more info will be coming out in the next couple of days about the new generation that will probably cost the same price.

I think the size is a fine minimum for decent web browsing... I think the only slight issue I have is that some links are too small to easily touch.

I love the 7" size. It's easy to carry, can be held in one hand, and is just large enough for most tasks. As was said above, yes, some sites come up too small to deal with.

I wish it was a little bigger, but it is ok

Do you think it's the processor that makes the difference? (they are both quad core) I would have thought the second gig of ram was important.
