do you miss the headphone jack?

I don't see enough reason to remove the headphone jack because there just isn't enough incentive to do so, other than, what I assume to be, monetary reasons.

If it was to save on cost, they wouldn't have included an adapter that probably has a higher unit cost than anything they saved by dropping the port?

Google is introducing the new digital audio spec. And if the phone had a 3.5mm jack, no one would bother using the new method.
 
Bluetooth headphones I am used to not having the port but even before that I switched to bluetooth even before the headphone jack started going away . I did try b&w headphones with the adapter it pushes them just fine

Likewise. I have used BT for a long time now. I have had a few phones that had the jack but never once plugged in headphone the entire time I used said phone.
