I started this because I found out my friend has 3 pairs for bluetooth EarBuds one of them is an Apple AirPods Pro and beats Headphones. I joke around saying, I thought I was weird for having 3 phones. LOL

I only had one pair and it was free from Samsung, for the life of me I can't remember the model or which Galaxy phone it came with but it was a few years ago.

Anyways, it's probably the worst pair I've owned but being free it is what it is. So I bought some JBL headphones, again can't remember the model because some how I missed placed it. FML.

I love the timing too because last month I sold the Buds2 that I got for free with my Flip3 for $120. Tonight, being so sick and tired of the unknown model Samsung, I bought a new Skullcandy Push Ultra tonight I found on Kijiji sealed for $80. I had a pair from them long time ago but broke them. They're decent just want something different and secure on my ears.

My point here I guess why do people have multiple sets?

I have 3 pair of wireless that I use:

~ Brass Tacks Runnerz that I use outside on camping trips, for yard work, etc. They are connected by a flat band & can hang around my neck if the need arises.

~ Samsung Buds 2. They stay in my ears extremely well. So these are my housework pair. Vacuuming, mopping floors, etc. Works well with a lot of movement as they stay in.

~ Samsung Buds Live. Extremely comfortable. These are my relaxing pair. I listen to music or a narrated ebook. I connect them to my Samsung TV to watch movies.

They all work for me. I wouldn't wear my Samsungs outside. I wouldn't clean house with my Buds Live because they'd constantly be falling out. I wouldn't want to wear my Buds 2 to watch a movie cause I'd always be adjusting them to try to make them more comfortable.

I haven't lost any yet. (Knock on wood)

Husband has 3 pair also. He mainly switches between Buds 1 (outside activities) & the Buds Live (indoors use).

Oh I forgot, I also have a pair of wired Hi-Res Sony noise canceling earbuds that I use with my Sony Hi-Res music player. (Husband has same setup) Then there's the Cowin E7 Pros padded over the ear noise canceling Bluetooth pair that I use to connect to my PC. (Yep, Husband also)
Then there's the two pair of Sennheiser RS120 II On-Ear Wireless RF Headphones that we use on our main TV. My Husband has some Sonys, I think, from when he was recording music.

I give up, too embarrassed to go on.

I think we have a problem in our household. Time to join Headphones Anonymous.

Concern about losing one is one reason why I stick with wired earbuds connected to a small Bluetooth adapter clipped to my belt with the wire threaded under my outer layer of clothing. The other main reason is that I sometime switch between listening to my phone over BT and my old Sansa Clip+ PMP and my personal DAB radio, neither of which have BT. I usually have two pairs on the go with the second spare pair kept in the side pocket of my key pouch along with a USB adapter which comes in handy if the BT adapter runs out of battery while still out and about (and which reminds me of the fiddly care needed to handle the phone while wired up).

I do have a pair of sports/neck-band over the ear wireless headphones for quick and easy use but they look awful so keep them for short listening sessions rather than go through the rigmarole of setting up with the wired earbuds to adapter which I am prepared to do for several hours use.

I have two pairs of earbuds that I use. My main set are the Soundpeats True engine 3. Battery life is great on them. They stay very well in my ears with foam tips. I also have a set of Anker Soundcore Q30 noise cancelling BT headphones. I will use them when I play games or working outside or in the garage with power tools. They have an awesome sound to them. But they completely isolate me from the outside world which isn't always a good thing. With my earbuds, I will often only use one.

I just use the standard AKG wired headphones that come with Samsung devices previously a few years ago. Sadly, my Note 10+ has no headphone jack. They did include a pair of USB C headphones in the box though when I purchased it. I recently lost them, though. LOL.

I prefer wired headphones as they are easier to use, just plug in and no problem and no having to charge them. I have also washed several pairs of wired headphones over the years accidentally while in my work clothes. The first few times they survived lol
