Do you own a secondary phone/tablet besides your V20?

I have a little 4.5' Moto E 2nd gen I use as an MP3 player and backup phone (also has FM tuner & micro SD). Great compact size, like an iPhone 5. Very good battery life, 2-3 days. (leave it on airplane mode). I bought it for $30 brand new. The Verizon version you can unlock.

Also have a ZTE ZMAX Pro which I use to browse the web and as GPS navigation. 6' screen is huge, could easily replace a tablet but still compact enough, 1080 resolution. Battery life is OK, just leave it on airplane mode. Phone is pretty cheap, you can get it for $90-175

V20 is my daily driver, use hotspot if I need to power the other devices. Replaceable battery comes in handy when you need it. What sidekick phones do you have if any?

Daily driver: iPhone 7
Backup/media device: iPhone SE
Because I love Android (and would be using it as a daily driver if I could guarantee timely updates for as long as Apple delivers them to iPhones): LG G6

I'm debating whether I should sell the iPhone SE and replace it with a V20.

I have my V10 as a backup phone, not in service. But I keep it updated and synchronized.
I also have and use my Samsung S2 9.7" tablet (I'm using it now).
My reason for my tablet is it's larger.... I can see and read stuff better ??????
My V20 is my daily driver. I would love my next phone to have a larger screen (6.3" or so).

Lateck,

I have an LG G Pad X LTE from AT&T that I got for $49.99 when I got my V10. It had a $5 data plan for 1GB data but now I pay $20 for unlimited. It's quite useful.

My driver is my V20. I have my old galaxy note 3 as a back up. I'd love to have my note7 back. Fml.

I have a Lumia 1020 as a backup phone but the last time I tried to use it the SIM tray would not slide out so I may have to get another Windows Phone for backup since I came from Windows Phone before switching to Android.

Samsung j3 backup phone
Samsung tab 3 tablet
Hp laptop
Numerous phones in drawer, like everyone else

I'm trying to figure out the relevance of the question about having a tablet in addition to the V20. There is no phone, phablet or otherwise which would be large enough to impact my decision on whether or not I should get tablet.

This is my tablet from a personal standpoint. One of the reasons I opted for a larger phone. Best of both worlds for me personally.

As a media player, the V20 is excellent. Might not be as compact as the iPhone SE, but the quad DAC and micro SD/ 64GB storage will make it an excellent MP3/media player. Also, on the second screen, you can view and change music tracks.

Lateck,

The 6' screen on my ZTE ZMAX Pro makes a huge difference VS the V20's 5.7'. But I don't think I want a daily driver phone any bigger, might be too difficult to use one handed. I had a tablet but it was too big to put in pocket and plus the specs were terrible. The ZTE is serving me well.

Same here. Came from a long time use of Samsung's line of 5.1' screens. Could easily replace a tablet in some cases. Reading eBooks is great on this.

Same deal with most people these days. Reason why the tablet industry is slowing down, the average screen size is 5.5 inch-5.7 inch nowadays. And now people just cast their screen to their TVs with Chromecast (works on V20, attach a Bluetooth or wireless USB keyboard and you got yourself a computer). Nice to have a secondary phone to give your daily driver a break from heavy usage.

LG G4 as a back up phone, still working fine after a mother board replacement because of the bootlop issue.
Ipad Mini 4 as a tablet, I would not change it for any other tablet yet, it just works fine and smooth and I use it for simple activities.

The DAC is the reason I'm considering it!

As much as the nerd in me wants a tablet .. No tablet for me (with any phone). I just know I won't get the use for the $ I spend on it :(.

I had a Toshiba Thrive when came out. A bit on the thick side but it was great because it had SD, USB, and one other port I can't remember. You could charge other devices with that tablet. It t had a huge removable battery. I still have it but it's slow. The stopped support after kit Kat.
Then my daughter bought me an IPad air which I use. I use it with a Zagg folio keyboard so I can use it like a PC. Great for watching videos or Netflix.

I switch back and forth between a V10 and a V20. Using the V10, right now. Have a Gpad 8.3 tablet, and love it for videos, ball games, etc.
Never watch TV anymore.
