Do you still like it?

still loving mine, it's just so easy/handy to pick up and do something on it instead of going to the laptop

I woudn't consider an iPad as I am not a big fan of iOS, but a bigger tablet would be nice for reading magazines as I find 7" a bit small for this

I agree. Magazines would be the main reason I'd even consider a larger screen.

I continue to be extremely happy with my N7, and think it's a very practical size.

I did some volunteer work the other day and another volunteer had the 1st generation iPad, which I know is heavier than current ones. Weight aside, for how I use my N7, I doubt a 10" screen would be any advantage and it certainly would be a disadvantage to carry around.

Saying this, is Google came out with tweener, such as a lightweight 8.5" screen, I'd seriously consider it.

Google has made a very fine product very affordable. Prices of Apple products have always kept me away (disclosure: I did own the Apple Macintosh way back when).

A 7" is ideal if you want a) a large screen and b) to be able to carry it around in your POCKET.

I'm still very much in love with my Nexus 7.

Yup. Still love it and loving it more everyday. It quickly took over the little things I used to use my laptop for and it's slowing taking over other uses. The size of the N7 feels just right to me. Good compromise of screen and device size. With a case it's the same size as my Kindle Keyboard in it's case. The screen size made it possible for me to get into comics again. It's not the best, but with the exception of full splash pages, it's completely legible. I think an inch or two bigger would eat too much into the portability factor and make it less useful. The speaker is about what I'd expect from a device so small but the portability means I can stream music anywhere around my house when I'm working on something.

The iPad was never a consideration. It's too large, too expensive and I don't like iOS or iTunes. I've never liked anything Apples designed. I even hated the old iPod interface. If given a choice (and I guess I was) I'd rather stick with my bulky laptop and phone as combo than have an iPad.

Sell it on eBay. You will get some money for it. Then you can buy 3 more N7's for the whole family. This is why Google is hedging the tablet market more and more now. Value.

+1 Sell it on ebay and get some money back. I do that with all my devices as it helps cover costs in a new device. Sell it while it still has value. Don't trade it in, they ream you on the value.

I love my Nexus 7. I had a Kindle Fire that I was actually happy with, but this is a much better option for me because of the Android experience. I've also used some larger tablets like the iPad, but they weren't what I was looking for in a tablet. I have my laptop for those kinds of needs. Nexus 7 does everything else... plus I'm a huge gamer and love the Tegra 3 capabilities on this one!

Yeah actually I sold my flyer, psp, and Zune to get the nexus, don't regret it, not at all

I have an iPad but I'm liking my n7 more because of the form factor. Its only Missing rear camera.

Me, too. Now DH uses the Fire to read Runner's World and do a few things, and the grandson (3 years old) plays games on it when he comes over. I use the Nexus only these days. The Fire seems so heavy in comparison. I love the 7" size...fits nicely into my purse, and I can take it anywhere.

So after having your Nexus 7 for awhile do you still like it? Would you rather have a bigger tablet? Would you rather have an iPad?
I like my Nexus 7. For my purposes, it's the right size for a tablet. My only significant complaint is it won't play streaming TV from sites like CBS and HULU but that's the fault of network executives who don't want the ad revenue unless I watch the shows on my laptop instead of my tablet.

If I won an iPad, I would probably sell it.

I love my N7. Its incredibly smooth and fast in package that's a nice comfortable size and weight. Just last night my wife was using her iPad2 to look at some pics. After abut 5 mins she asked me to hold her ipad for her since it was getting too heavy to hold and look at comfortably.

I calmly got up, put her ipad away, grabbed my N7 and went to the site she was at. She wasn't a fan of the nexus until that moment. The size and weight are fantastic which allows for a lot more comfort.

I personally have no need for a larger tablet, and I am perfectly happy with my grouper. Pocket portability is huge for me too and this fits nicely into my back pocket.

I will never be getting an i - Pad, pod, phone, mini, nano, micro, macro, whatever, etc...

I absolutely love my 7. I would not trade it for an ipad or anything else. I like the size and the buttery smoothness of the os too.

I'm in love my Nexus.
I can never see myself buying any Apple product.

I've had mine since release and, yep, still really liking it. Other than a first gen iPod touch I bought years ago, this is the only other mobile device I've owned (I still refuse to own a mobile phone of any type).

The only thing, really, that made me purchase is was the price (and size). For a relatively small amount I could experience the latest tech and, at the same time, see if a tablet could fit into my life. And it has. Unlike some, though, I don't find it indispensable. For me (emphasis on "for me"), it's just a cool tech toy with limited uses. I guess I'm still very much old school: Take away my PC, and you cut off both my arms. :)

That said, it's a great device and I'm glad to have it. :)

Noooooo! Don't go back to the dark side! Continue toward the light and you shall remain free! Choice and individuality are beautiful things.

Don't worry, I've reached the end of the tunnel heading toward the light and I won't let them trap me back into their void. :D
