Do you think a case is needed?

I've had my z2 for a little more than a week. I watched the Android Authority droptest and I saw the durability of the z2 but the comments show otherwise. I have the TPU cruzerlite case with me although I usually use the Z2 naked. Should use the case or not? It makes the phone more chunky and it takes away the beauty of the device. :/

Ask yourself this:
-are you clumsy?
-do you care more about aesthetics or protection?
-do you have the guts to stand the back glass panel shattering?

My personal experience is the naked z2 is beautiful yet slippery, so I use the krussell transparent case

Id say yes. My z2 screen shattered on its own with a case on it. Still not got it repaired yet. It wasnt dropped though.

Yes, it is extremely scratchy
even gentle brushes scratch it

depends on your personal preference. I chose to have a case (White S-Line Gel TPU case).. very happy with it. You should check it out. Got mine cheap on EBay. As for the glass being scratch-prone - i'm not sure i agree. I've had my phone for almost over a month with no screen protector and I must say, the glass is SCRATCHproof. Not even a tiny bit of hair mark scratches.. HUGE PLUS.

well Honestly is your choice but i will advice you to use a cover or a flip cover to protect your phone against scratches and shartter.

Agreed. You see, life happens. If keeping your investment blemish-free is important to you a case is a must. Just find one you like and I think in the end you'll be glad you did.

I have had my phone for over 8 months. I have never used a case. I have however been using this.

It comes with a tempered glass screen protector, and a plastic back protector.
It works great, and I have no scratches on either my screen or back. I have never dropped my phone, but there are many scratches these have saved my phone from.

That's the one major problem with Z2 - it's really slippery. I hate that.

I put a Tempered Glass Protector on the screen and a case on the back. I highly recommend to put on both.
