Yay! I hope you like yours! It's hard to find a tempered glass that covers all the way, unfortunately. I have a plastic one that does the job but not sure I would recommend lol. It's not horrible or bad, it's just OK. It's by supershieldz and it's cheap.

Thank you so much! I'm super excited! And thank you for that recommendation! I feel like I've read that it's difficult to find screen protectors for the Honor 8. I'm not super picky about protector brands - as long as I have one, I'm usually okay with it. If I don't, I'll get freaked out. Thanks again - I'll look into that brand! Maybe Best Buy has them. I have yet to look.

Yes my Honor 8 is white. I love it! To be honest, all of the colors of the Honor 8 are all beautiful, but to me the white and black are more of a blank canvas. White also hides fingerprints and scratches well too.

Edit: To me, the white Honor 8 is like a pearl. So pretty. You'll see!

Yes, all of the colours are beautiful! I had the choice between black and white, and I haven't had a white phone for a long time, so I chose that. I like that there is variety in colour choice, for sure! And I agree - the black and white are more classically beautiful, or canvases, as you've said.

I haven't had an issue with the front glass, it seems to be much more scratch resistant than the back.

My front glass unfortunately has a few light scratches on it. I would still recommend a front tempered glass screen protector unless you are careful or don't mind some scratches.

Scratches happen, haven't really bothered me. I'm mainly worried about cracks and dropping it. The slick wrap definitely helps with grip, though it hides the appearance.

My tempered glass screen protector just came today! I inserted it (LOOL at me and screen protector installation), and it actually looks okay. However, I feel like the width of the protector does not cover all of the screen - there is a little spec of screen on either side of the protector. But this is what I've been reading about, right? That typical screen protectors can't always fit around the entirety of the screen due to the build? It's not a big deal, as 98% of the screen is covered and I known I am protected.

Some of the cheaper ones are smaller than the screen so that they don't hang over the 2.5d glass

Thank you! It's not too huge of a deal - I've heard that most protectors do not cover the edges of the device. As long as the bulk of my screen is protected, I feel good about it!

I will say I've tried Quite a few tempered glass and this one was the best I found in that link he attached. No halo and it's thinner than typical too.

You can lift up and remove the dust with tape. But sometimes removing the screen protector will cause the glue to not stick well.
