Does 4.2.2 update require unlocking and rooting again?

Hello. This seems like a straightforward question, but I've not maanged to figure it out: I am assuming that if I update from 4.2.1 to 4.2.2 then I'll need to unlock and root my 7 again.

Is this true? Thanks.

Yes on root, that is normally a given.

Unlocking the bootloader probably not unless you locked it back up prior to updating assuming you were previously unlocked & rooted.

FWIW, methods used previously to unlock & root should still remain the same with the new update .

When I updated I lost my root access so do I just need to root my device the same as I did last time to get my root access back
