Does AC ever actually try products before publishing "reviews" and awarding "best" ratings?

I've tried and returned 4 of the 6 "best" screen protectors "reviewed" on this page. None of those 4 actually fit the phone properly, leaving portions of the screen uncovered, or failing to adhere at all where the flat glass extends above the curved areas of the screen.
On a related note, has anyone found a screen protector that actually fits the 4XL?
