Does anyone else see strange Inertial Scrolling behavior in Chrome?

Inertial scrolling doesn't work if I swipe above a certain speed. This appears to only happen in Chrome, inertial scrolling works normally in the Settings app etc.

Scrolling works as expected on my HTC One M7 with the same version of Chrome.

Anyone else seeing this?

Yes, seem to have it here with a TA-1033 Nokia 6 7.1.1 September security patch currently.

I had to return my phone (bad USB port, and now the replacement has at least 10 bad pixels - NOT impressed, Nokia), so I had the opportunity to make the following observations:

Android 7.1.1 June 2017 + Chrome 56.0.2924.78 = inertial scrolling working

Android 7.1.2 October 2017 + Chrome 56.0.2924.78 = inertial scrolling working

Android 7.1.2 October 2017 + Chrome 62.0.3202.84 = as per my video

I chose not to call the first two "normal scrolling", because the scrolling still felt a little weird. Definitely sluggish compared to the HTC One M7. But it wasn't being stopped short like the video.

That's not good news about the pixels.

Still waiting for the 7.1.2 update for the TA-1033. When I contacted Nokia they gave the "stock" reply - depends on model, country and carrier which is basically rubbish when it's an unlocked phone like mine and I am sure a lot of Nokia 6's in the UK.

Once I get 7.1.2 then I will give another check to this. I am also using Microsoft Edge on my phone which seems long to load - it's in preview so it will be the diagnostics code and the code not optimised - but it scrolls ok on my phone.

The pixels suck, and I don't think I'll be able to return the phone because my only option is to take it back to the showroom. The showroom with it's bright fluorescent lighting and it's clueless staff, and then me trying to point out bright sub-pixels on a 400PPI screen.

Against my better judgement, I purchased another Nokia 6. No pixel defects but lo and behold; the same misaligned port issue as my first unit. Regardless of software issues, I can no longer recommend this phone to anyone. HMD global clearly has no concept of QC.

I tried Edge and it was better than I expected. What I would really like to use is Firefox, because it supports proper content blocker extensions. But it still has unacceptable site formatting issues.

I had the mis-aligned port issue but it wasn't too bad.

I think it is an issue that HMD / Nokia need to resolve.

I am expecting to have to buy another Nokia 6 because my wife's phone (Lumia 950) is starting to show it's age (it's no longer in warrantee) and needs a new battery (they are so expensive). Also as Windows 10 Mobile is dead she wants to change to something that will at least last a few years.

Still haven't go 7.1.2 or the October / November security update in the UK. HMD / Nokia have really let the UK Nokia 6 customers down. Raised it with HMD / Nokia support and got the same old rubbish - it depends on model, network supplier and region..... I did point out to them that we have been getting regular updates till October, after that they basically went vary quiet.
