Does anyone have a problem with setting their own ringtone in GS9 +?

[Android Central Question]

I've tried everything to set my own ringtone in GS9 +
I moved from memory card to phone memory - ringtones
I pointed out dozens of times what I want and after a short time I change to a factory bell.
Samsung samsung help and remote help did not help
I have exhausted all available options (including resettlement)
Does anyone have such problems?
I suspect an error in the software.
Formerly after indicating the work - holding and choosing the option - set as a bell - it worked.
Now there is NO OPTION (?) !!!

Wierd... I have never had problems setting my ringtone since my first android... What format is this ringtone? Can the file be opened in music player?

I tried everything ... mid, mp3, mp4, nothing works
There are no options and set as a ringtone ....
in samsung's help they do not know what is wrong; //

So if you go to settings, sounds and vibration, ringtone and pick one from there it does not stick?
