I live in Korea for about 6 months and also in the US for about 6 months. Sometimes more in the US. I'm having trouble figuring out whether I should buy the Note 5 from either SK Telecom or KT in Korea vs. Verizon in the US.
So far I know:
SK Telecom 3G= 2100Mhz
LTE= 850Mhz(main) , 1800Mhz(sub)
KT 3G= 2100Mhz
LTE= 1800Mhz(main) , 900Mhz(sub)
And Verizon's Note 5 =
NETWORK CDMA Data – 1x and EVDO Rev0/Rev. A, LTE: 13(700), 4(1700/2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 7(2600), LTE CA 13+4 (10+10)
GLOBAL NETWORK GPRS/EDGE/GSM(850/900/1800/1900), HSPA/UMTS(850/900/1900/2100)
-from verizonwireless.com
And according to one of the Verizon's representatives, the LTE bands of the Note 5 supports 2,4 and 5 ; (future SU) 12,13,17,25
So it seems like the Verizon Note 5 would work well with SK (correct me if I'm wrong), but I don't know the 3G and LTE frequency of the SK or KT version. If anyone know of this, please help me out.
