Does anyone make a phone with a screen under 5 inches?

I just bought a Moto G from Republic Wireless for $150. $10 a month for unlimited talk/text. Probably the best purchase decision I've ever made regarding cell phones. It's fast enough for all my daily needs, and it's only 4.3 inches so it's easy to use one handed.

Only thing that sucks about it is the camera, but I've never been an Instagram wh0re anyways.

Doesn't seem to be answered yet so idk exactly how it works, but I think you might be able to look at unlocked phones for AT&T perhaps... might need to do a bit of research on how that works if you that route...I believe AT&T does something different that only a few unlocked phones have the technology to be used on their network... but anyway, hopefully you find something. ^^

There does exist some Smartphones screen size under 5.0 inch. For instance, the Xiaomi Redmi2, 4.7 inch 4G LTE phone on a budget.

It seems like you can't find a phone with a "normal" size screen anymore! Forgive my rant, but it's like the phone makers think everyone is blind and we all want tablet sized screens for our phones these days. I've had the Nexus 4 for 2 years this month. I really like the 4.7 inch screen my phone has. I've been thinking about upgrading finally but I've noticed all the phones out there are 5.2 - 6 inches! I'd be willing to go up to 4.9 inches, that's about it. To me personally, anything 5 inches or bigger isn't practical. It wouldn't fit in my pocket or on my waist comfortably like my Nexus 4 does. And I have good eyesight so I don't need a huge screen. I just don't get the trend of bigger screens now. I thought that wasn't popular just a few years ago??

I would appreciate any input. I am currently on AT&T but thinking about jumping ship for Verizon. I've had horrible service lately with AT&T in my area. Lots of dropped calls, fail to connect a call, caller can hear me but I can't hear them, service drop outs on voice and data... that sort of thing.

Thank you AC friends!

Having the note 4, there's no way I can do a small screen again lol... It probably would mess with my eyes loo

Samsung mini S5,or Motorolas the g is a5"i think, I got the 2014 moto g, that's 4.8".so dunno about moto XDA-Developers, and wot money you want spend.

Thank you for all the replies. I should have clarified, I am looking for a high-end spec android smartphone under 5 inches with at least 32GB storage. And I'm most likely going to be switching to Verizon. AT&T wants to penalize me and charge me more for upgrading and signing a new 2 year contract, doesn't make sense. After searching their current inventory online, I don't see anything matching that. So it looks like I'll have to settle for just above 5 inches. I'm currently eyeing the Moto Droid Turbo, or I might just wait for the Samsung Galaxy S6 which I'm really impressed with so far. Both of these are no more than 5.2 inch screens which I think I can accept.

Are you only interested in signing a new contract? The Z3 Compact could be had unlocked directly from Sony for about $470. You could keep using AT&T or go with a less expensive prepaid carrier.

On Verizon, though, you aren't going to find any flagship-level Android phones under 5 inches.

I used to hate the idea of a phone above 4.8 inches display size. However I've always been a Galaxy S line fan. Samsung kept on changing the screen size (4.0~4.2~4.8~5.0~5.1) After getting fed up with the S5 and realising that I was used to larger phones I bought a Note 4 and love it. Definitely have no plans to return to the S line

Adegbenro Agoro. Galaxy Note 4.

Motorola dude! The moto g 1st gen.

A Moto G is an entry level phone, not high end, which is what the OP is looking for.

I doubt that there is truly a high end Android phone under 5" nowadays. All OEM's tend to neuter the specs on phones that they make smaller versions of. A 5.1" is probably the closest you will get without trading off performance.
The Moto Droid Turbo is a nice phone. There's no denying the Galaxy S6 is a great phone. Personally, I would go with the S6 in that size. I have a Galaxy Note 4. Not sure if I could go smaller now at this point or not.
