does brand matter when purchasing micro sd mem card?

I have the 8" tab 3, and i want to add a memory card, mainly to store music from spotify. Are all memory cards created equal. If no what are some good options?

Yes and no. You don't need a brand name card with UHS-1 write speeds but if you're going to be transferring files frequently I'd recommend at least a class 4 card since it does the transferring pretty fast compare to a standard SD card. Look for your desired storage capacity and add SDHC Class 4/6/10 depending on which one you think you need.

Newegg.com... You can get like class 10 32gb cards for $30 or less if I remember right
