does brixby work on A5 ? is there active svoice support continuing?

Bixby is only supported on the Note 8 and S9 line. S-Voice continues to be supported for mid-range phones and older models (S-Voice is part of Bixby in a way).

thanks. but I couldn't find a way for s voice to reliably work in the car with BT when the screen was locked. ok Google managed to unlock every time.
