does cracked tempered screen protector reduce Integrity of screen

Dropped my phone and cracked the Verizon tempered glass screen protector. Does that mean the regular phone screen now is at increased risk of cracking if I drop it again?

If the screen is in tact with no damage, no. I would replace the protector and take a good look at the main panel. Even a small scratch or chip significantly​ reduces the strength.
