Does deleting data from 'Google My Device' really works?

Suppose, if someone lost his phone. Now...He wants to delete his data. He went to android device manager and deleted his data. Can they still recover your data?

Nope, just the one that was already backed up in your Google Account. Once the wipe command has been initiated, it sticks.
