Does Foxfi work with the kitkat update?

I can't upgrade until I'm sure Foxfi will work. I'm on satellite Internet at home with a 15gb data cap and two teenagers. I still have unlimited data with Verizon and Foxfi is saving me hundreds or at least the misery of listening to them complain about how slow the Internet is. Thanks.

Without root, only on USB or Bluetooth. Not wifi.

And currently there is no root after you take the update.

Have you ever thought of putting your unlimited data SIM into a mobile hotspot and using that for home internet? I used to do that when I had an iPhone and wanted to share the internet with my personal computer while at work.

Isn't my sim card dedicated to the phone number I have it set to?
