Does Google Now 'locate my car' work outside the USA?

I have a Galaxy S6 running Lollipop (5.02).

I am very interested in learning more about the 'find my car' feature of Google Now.

I have set up my defaults to say that I drive, but so far a Now card has never been issued that relates to me getting in or out of my car. No matter what I do, I don't seem to be able to engage this function.

That got me wondering if this is yet another of those features that is not available outside the US. I live in Canada.

Does anyone outside the US have success in getting this feature to work?

I can only speak for Google Now in Germany, and it doesn't work.

It works for me in Edmonton most of the time, I get a card that tells me where I parked and when I parked there. It has worked for me since it was released.
