Does Greenify ruin my RAM?

Hi all,

I am currently having horrendous battery life on my S6 Edge+ running Marshmallow and currently debating whether to use Greenify? First time I used it a while back, it closed down my background apps, forcing me to reopen them and doing that is not good for RAM. But I keep getting redirected to using Greenify. Is it bad for my RAM?

I use it myself and find it an excellent way of force-stopping selected apps which might otherwise run in the background, the point being to save battery. I see no cause for RAM concerns.
