does gsam battery monitor use battery??

Every application that calls for CPU cycles will use some amount of battery power. The amount that GSAM uses is quite low, even with the High Priority option toggled in advanced settings. It will not affect your battery life that you would even notice. I would not recommend hibernating that process, as it would negate the usefulness of having it installed.

That being said, irony is probably not the correct term here since GSam is strictly a tool to monitor battery usage, not save battery power like Amplify and Greenify aim to do.

OT: Manga Rock, huh? What mangas are you into? I'm currently reading Tokyo Ghoul, Edajima Den and All You Need Is Kill.
