Main factory screen protector started to come off

So my almost 2 year old flip factory screen protector started to come off at the hing area, bubbles were forming and the phone was basically unresponsive to touch at the fold. Went to a Verizon store (bought from them on launch) and they told me to go get a new screen protector they were out and suggested best buy. So I went on Amazon and saw some were available for around 15 dollars US. Having read some horror stories about removing the screen porter I contacted Samsung support. They warned me and told me to take to an authorized repair shop which for me was a U break place. Took it and they said 1 and 1/2 hours to install a new one for 26 dollars. easy choice, the phone works like new. Glad I did some research. good luck to anyone else having this issue I recommend this approiach particularity if you aren't trying to damage your phone for the insurance replacement easier than setting up a new phone

I can't "Ditto" strong enough your choice of uBreakiFix. My Flip 5 (2-1/5 yrs old) had the identical problem. I didn't know uBreakIfix was tightly connected to Samsung because they seem to service about anything, They were very thorough using Samsung diagnostic software and would repair only after successfully running the tests. Same low price to repair. In addition to clearing out the bubbles, the replacement screen now shows much clearer & brighter images - like a new phone.
