I've read in a couple of reviews that operation on GSM meant that it would also be capable of LTE in addition to WiMax. I have also read that Beceem (the company that produces all WiMax chips) and Moto have been working on a chip that will be in mass production by Summer that will seamlessly switch between WiMax and LTE.
Does anyone have any knowledge about LTE capabilities on this phone? Considering the recent announcement about Sprint and LightSquared, this would be awesome!

no GSM does not mean LTE it just means its a World phone so if you travel you will be able to use it around the World

I have no idea what Motorola is going to use, but HTC has used the Sequans SQN1210 for their WiMAX chipset. Samsung used their own CMC730S for the Epic 4G and presumably the Nexus S 4G. I don't know who, if anyone, is currently using Beceem in their 4G smartphones. I know Beceem was working on a WiMAX/LTE multimode chipset, but I haven't heard much about it since they were acquired by Broadcom.
