Does it make a difference if my phone is set to Global mode or CDMA/LTE mode? And no I don't leave the USA.

I have been told (whether true or not) that global mode can cause issues sometimes.

I have never had a problem with either. If you have a network issue, it doesn't hurt to change the mode
