Does Kies air eat my internet usage allowance during file transfers?

I want to transfer a lot of files from my PC using Kies air. It will use only my local network or will eat my whole internet usage allowance?

My PC is wi-fi connected to the router(which is a modem from the internet provider at the same time)

Funky IS wrong alot, but this is one of those times when he's actually correct
Kies Air will use a WiFi connection between your phone and computer to transfer the files, so it won't eat into your data plan. To be on the safe side, you should be sure your mobile data connection is turned off.
