OTA update but bootloader unlocked

Hey I rooted my phone using Towelroot and used BootUnlocker to unlock my bootloader. I think I have a custom recovery installed. Now if I get the Lollipop update I wouldn't be able to download it cause of my recovery. So if I lock my bootloader and uninstall Xposed can I download the OTA update? Doesn't locking the bootloader delete the custom recovery?

The surest way to receive the update is to install the stock, factory image. If the update detects the slightest change in the system then the update won't install. A leftover file from Towelroot could cause this problem.

What device do you have?

Re: OTA update but bootloader unlocked

I have a Nexus 5 running stock Android 4.4.4. If I just delete Xposed and flash the stock bootloader image and lock my bootloader can't I update my phone because it's not heavily modified. I am running CWM recovery in my phone.
