Does Music app drain a lot of battery on the Droid?

I dont know if I should buy an iPod just for music because I use my Droid for everyyyyything! and it seems like the music app drains the battery so quick. Thanks dudes.

Battery life is dependent on a lot of things, I find playing music locally off the sd card really doesn't drain my battery much though. What else do you have running, how often are you polling for things, are you playing music off the phone or streaming off the Internet?
