Does my Note 8 have the ability to have its camera record to the sdcard?

I can't for the life of me, here in 2020, find a way to save videos/photos to my sdcard on my Note 8's Samsung Camera app.

I should be able to find it if is there... I'm a software engineer, I'm very techy. So I'm frustrated to think they don't have the ability to do that on my Note 8.

should be able to change it in the camera app. just go to settings gear within the app, and check for storage location

It's worth noting storage location won't show up unless an sd card is already installed.

Phone will still save RAW capture to internal storage too due to RAW requiring high data speeds because they image files are much larger. Auto and all other camera modes can save to SD.
