Does my phone have a virus?

Sometimes when I open up the messages app, the internet pops open. Sometimes the page it pops open to says that my device has a virus, sometimes it opens to a game apps page on Google play. I've had this problem for quite a while, and scanning my phone with security apps doors nothing.

Have you checked into your Google Account lately ? Checked what devices/apps/sites have what access/info ? Do a security health check.
Do you use any cleaners on your device regularly ?
Sounds as if you've hopped thro' different security apps....try fixing on one.

Popups that say you have a virus are malware (Android doesn't do that by itself). Run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
